Event Details
Taught by a periodontist and general dentist, this two-day hands-on course gives you multiple perspectives on how to address all kinds of complications that occur with dental implants. The course will be presented in a comprehensive format with lecture, discussion, and hands-on practice on models and animal specimens. Attendees will leave better prepared to recognize and remedy implant complications back in their own offices.
Scott Froum is a board certified periodontist who received his BA from Amherst College in Amherst, MA with a major in biology. He received his DDS from the State University of New York Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where he graduated with honors. He continued his dental training in the post graduate periodontal department at the State University of New York Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and received his periodontal certificate. He currently is a clinical assistant professor at the State University of New York- Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Periodontics. He is chief editor of the online journal Perio-Implant Advisory. He is on the editorial board for the Academy of Osseointegration Newsletter. He maintains a private practice in New York City, NY.
Clark Brinton graduated OHSU School of Dentistry as 2013 class valedictorian after training under Dr. Stanley Malamed in IV sedation during 3rd and 4th year. He served four years in the National Health Service Corps across rural New Mexico where he honed oral surgery skills and moonlighted providing IV sedation, 3rd molar and dental implant services. Clark practices in Portland, Oregon where he co-founded the Arvory Group which owns and manages 10 dental offices and a dental marketing group. Clark co-owns Hero Dental Lab to meet the growing and complex implant restorative needs inside and outside his practices. He continues as an unrecovered CE addict, constantly attending and teaching implant courses. |

Scott Froum is making arrangements with Salvin and Geistlich to also sponsor the event and can provide any pertinent disclosures related to these companies.
In the case of cancellation by registrant, refunds will be made if received in writing NO LATER than two weeks (14 days) prior to start of course date. A $100 processing fee is charged on refunds. DSN reserves the right to change speakers, equipment/materials used or course dates without notice due to unforeseen circumstances. In the rare event that attendance is insufficient, participants will be notified of cancellation or reschedule two weeks prior to course date and a full refund will be given. In such circumstance, organizers will not be held liable for any expenses already incurred by any participant.
