Dr. Mark Costes is far from a typical dentist and dental coach. During his career, he has been able to start or acquire over a dozen successful dental practices during some of the profession’s most challenging times. But Dr. Costes’s journey was not without its setbacks. In fact, he credits much of his success to the fact that he made more mistakes in his first year of private practice ownership than most dentists make in an entire career.
Addison Killeen, DDS, is a practicing dentist, author, speaker, and business coach. He has owned 8 practices and currently owns one startup in Lincoln, Nebraska that is growing at a logarithmic scale. He has traveled the world extensively to provide dental care to the poor and under-served. Each year he visits the Kobonal Mission in Hinche, Haiti, and he has also visited Peru, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua to provide care.
Dr. Killeen lives in Lincoln, Nebraska with his wife Rachel and their two boys. Outside of the dental office, he enjoys endurance bike racing and all things outdoors.

After graduating dental school from Detroit Mercy and a General Practice Residency at Denver Health Hospital his passion for surgery was clear. He has become proficient in all facets of surgery, including All-on-X implants, PRF/PRP, IV sedation, oral sedation, guided bone regeneration, vertical and lateral sinus grafts, bone block grafting, rescue implants such as zygomatic and pterygoids, soft tissue grafting, prosthetics, and the entire full-arch digital workflow. Since combining forces with his business partner and friend Dr. Taher Dhoon, the practice has grown tremendously. In a very short time, they went from performing a full arch case every month, to see at least one full arch patient per day. He’s also led the way in incorporating complex surgical procedures, all the latest digital technologies, and a fully functional digital dental lab. Dr. Briskie, not only teaches the technical aspects of surgery and digital dentistry to GPs, but he also has a talent for positively impacting dentists’ passion for surgery and helping them achieve the confidence needed to incorporate dental surgeries in their own practices. As Dr. Briskie expands his clinical knowledge, his desire to teach and inspire others has become a priority. He is now traveling and teaching hands-on full arch procedures and digital workflows to groups of docs all over the nation. He also owns a dental lab and surgery-specific marketing company. Dr. Briskie’s latest achievement is becoming an implant and surgical faculty member within the Dental Success Network, a group led by Dr. Mark Costes. Dr. Briskie believes the most successful clinicians are humble and motivated individuals with a work-life balance to match. He enjoys the outdoors including hiking Colorado’s highest peaks, snowboarding, camping, and mountain biking.

I can consult on any orthodontic service, process, vendor or procedure but ultimately my core values are airway-focused (AirwayDontics™), non-extraction, non-surgical, early orthodontic treatment (My Phase 1 Smile™). Orthodontic lab fees are a concern, so through Bid My Ortho Lab™, I match doctors and treatment plans with the best, lowest-price orthodontic lab solution. His ultimate goal is to protect the autonomy of a dentist to sedate while advancing dental sedation training.
Christopher Phelps, DMD, CMCT works with professionals across the country in identifying their marketing hurdles and showing them how to succeed and grow in an otherwise tough, competitive economy. An entrepreneur and Amazon bestselling author, Chris is also a general dentist practicing in Charlotte NC. In his first seven years of practice Chris grew his practice revenue by a factor of 10X: growing from one practice location to four. After selling two of those offices for profit, Chris focused on maximizing the capacity of his remaining two practices and enjoyed two consecutive years of $1,000,000 revenue growth in each of the two practices, effectively collecting with two offices what he had collected when he owned four. The Call Tracker ROI program he developed played a major role: decreasing missed calls by 90 and increasing team conversions of new patient appointments over the telephone from 24 to over 86 which helped increase his new patient numbers from 60/month to averaging over 300/month; all the while decreasing his marketing expenses by 74. In 2016 he launched Golden Goose Scheduling to help practices answer and schedule more new patient calls so they didn’t have to pay more in marketing money to get them. Chris writes frequently for industry publications such as Dental Economics, Dental Practice Management, Dental Products Report, Dentistry IQ ad Remin Media. He is the author of Grow Your Practice with Wine & Cheese and also published a CE article in Contemporary Esthetics Magazine. Chris was awarded the Doctor’s Choice National Dental Award in 2016 (from 6,000 nominated dentists). Additionally, he was chosen for the 2016 Doctor’s Choice Top 100, due to a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. In addition to being a Kolbe Certified Trainer, a key opinion leader to several large dental companies, and understanding how to get new patients in the door, Dr. Phelps is also an expert in the Science of Influence and Ethical Persuasion. He has studied under the authority in this field, Dr. Robert Cialdini, and is the only dentist in the world to be named a Cialdini Method Certified Trainer (CMCT). Jonathan created DentistMetrics to solve the problem facing many dentists – they have a complicated business and their time is stretched way too thin. Most dentists spend 15,000 hours learning to be a dentist but ZERO hours learning how to be a business owner. DentistMetrics aims to completely automate and outsource the bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax portion of the dentist’s business so that they can focus on what really matters in their practice. By creating an automated workflow for the dentist and by focusing on showing dentists what numbers they need to be watching, DentistMetrics has allowed dental practices around the country to raise profits by hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.
In his practice, Dr. Jason Campbell has personally experienced many complex oral health issues than many dentists face during their careers, including genetically missing teeth, TMJ disorders, and migraine headaches. Additionally, he has been faced with many related medical problems, such as inflammatory illness due to food allergies, intolerances and acid issues. His experience with this dental and medical problems evolved into a passion for helping people in a comprehensive way to teat and avoid the very complex issues and dental problems that he has faced and to help other practitioners to develop the skillset to offer advanced care to patients and catapult their practice to new success.
Dr. Turchin’s desire to give his patients the very best has kept his schedule busy with Continuing Education Seminars all over the country, and Study Clubs such as the Occlusal Concepts Study Club of Manhattan. His treatment philosophy of integrating health and beauty has interested many different groups, making him a busy lecturer as well. As the science and art of dentistry moves forward, Dr. Turchin is dedicated to being at the forefront. But he knows that personalized care is the most important quality in treating people. Dr. Andrew Turchin graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1999. His quest for more knowledge landed him at Columbia University where he was a Fellow in their Advanced Education in General Dentistry program which included a full year Dental Implant Course given by Branemark, the company credited with inventing and pioneering the modern dental implant. After finishing at Columbia, Dr. Turchin began private practice as an associate at a prominent Fifth Avenue practice renowned for their reconstructive work. In 2002, Dr. Turchin opened his own practice on Fifth Avenue practicing both preventive and reconstructive dentistry. Six months after September 11th, Dr. Turchin was asked to join World Trade Center Dental to help rebuild their great practice, which he was honored to do part time while maintaining his own office. In 2008, Dr Turchin expanded his practice to a much larger space on Madison Avenue, where he designed the practice of his dreams which comforted his patients in a non-clinical environment while under the surface being equipped with the best dental technology had to offer. In 2012, after 13 years of practicing at the top of Manhattan Dentistry, he sold his practice to follow his dream of living and practicing in Aspen, Colorado. It was hard for him to say goodbye to such an amazing practice with so many wonderful patients and a great team. He now enjoys bringing the very best preventive, general, and reconstructive dentistry that he is known for in New York to Aspen, while appreciating the wonders of nature.
Born in Jackson, TN, I grew up in Rockford, MI, a suburb of Grand Rapids. I had never really given much thought to Dentistry as a profession. Why, I don’t really know, but during the summer between my sophomore and junior year of undergrad, I had a conversation with a second year dental student that opened my eyes. After that, everything is history.
For undergrad, I attended Graceland University and received my degree in Mathematics and Chemistry. For my dental degree, I attended the University of Missouri in Kansas City. I purchased my practice in 2011, Happy Rock Dental. I have since focused it around digital dentistry, particularly in the areas of Cosmetics, Implantology, and Orthodontics. Basically, if it can be technology centered, I’m interested.
I have been involved with software testing and development in dentistry for many years, starting with Sirona’s CEREC Chairside Milling. Currently, I have the privilege of acting as Project Manager of BlueSkyBio’s Orthodontic Department. I also provide technical feeback to a number of companies to help them provide a better dental product.
I’ve been married to my beautiful bride, Grace, for 11 years and we have three amazing children: Bowen (8y/o), Nella (6y/o), and Corwin (2y/o). You can learn more about our daughter Nella and her fight against Type 1 Spinal Muscular atrophy at Facebook.com/PrayersForNella.
When I find some free time, I try to squeeze in some snow or water skiing, snowboarding, running, and CrossFit. When I’m not exploring new ways to improve my work, I try to make the most of my family time and enjoy great TV and movies.
Dr. Taher Dhoon was born in Utah, where he learned to love the outdoors. He later moved to California, receiving his BA in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, random seating placed him next to another aspiring dentist, named Bridget, who would later become his wife.
Dr. Dhoon has traveled all over the country to learn and perfect the most complex techniques available in modern-day dentistry. He has also traveled to the Dominican Republic two separate times to perform implant surgeries and complex bone grafting procedures for the locals in those less fortunate communities.
He has also completed training and become licensed to provide oral sedation for his patients. This has helped him improve the dental health of his patients who were once too anxious or fearful to visit the dentist. Appointments with sedation are easy and stress-free. Patients find they are finally able to relax and receive the dental treatment that they have put off for so many years. His relentless dedication to continuing education enables him to provide his patients with the finest treatments available.
Dr. Dhoon married his dental school sweetheart and they have two energetic kids named Connor and Claire.
You might say that Dr. Dhoon is excited about having a son and has big plans! Dr. Dhoon eventually plans to buy an old 60s-70s Chevy to rebuild with his son and then hand the keys over to him for his sixteenth birthday, as long as self-driving cars haven’t made this project obsolete.
Claire is only one month old, and already has him wrapped around her little finger. Dr. Dhoon and Bridget also have a golden retriever named West and a little rescue poodle-shih tzu named Jordy.
Together, Dr. Dhoon and his family enjoy exploring all the hidden secrets Colorado has to offer, staying active, and spending time with friends & family.
Dr. Brinton graduated OHSU School of Dentistry in 2013 as the class valedictorian. During his third and fourth years, he was selected as one of two students to train under Drs. Stanley Malamed and Ken Reed in intravenous sedation as a member of their mini-residency program.
Dr. Brinton practiced general dentistry in New Mexico from 2013 to 2017, devoting much of his practice to IV sedation and dental surgery, including root canal therapy, dental extractions, removal of impacted wisdom teeth, and dental implant surgery. Dr. Brinton credits his high level of experience and education in a short time to his commitment to continued professional education and training.
Dr. Brinton completed didactic and live patient surgical implant training with OCO Biomedical in 2013 and has been placing and restoring dental implants since. He stays current with implantology by attending additional courses and symposiums, having recently returned from the world-renowned Pikos Symposium in November. Dr. Brinton is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and a provider of cosmetic and therapeutic Botox for TMJ and head and neck pain.
Dr. Brinton and his wife, Kjerstin, have two young daughters, Annika and Hanna. In their free time, they love to enjoy the outdoors, whether by foot, bike, or skis.
“As a dental student, I developed a passion for the practice of dentistry and went above and beyond the requirements to prepare myself for my future patients in every way possible. Since graduation, I’ve continued to pursue as much continuing education as possible with the goal of providing excellent care to my patients. I try to treat my patients like my family, which starts with a correct diagnosis, exploring treatment options, and performing the right procedure with the excellence and skill to make sure you leave happy with your visit.”
